How to delete a category?

How you can delete a category, or subcategory and move all the content inside the category to some other category.

1. Go to admin, and select Tags and Categories
2. Choose a category under category control
3. A category can not be deleted if there is a subcategory to the category
4. Find and select the "Delete this category" checkbox, 
5. Choose another category in which you want to move your content.
6. Click on Save Changes.
