How can I configure the helpbot widget to provide contextually relevant responses based on user behavior or preferences?

Configuring Helpbot for Contextually Relevant Responses

1Answer

The Context Control feature in Faqprime allows you to display specific content based on the URL of the page the user is viewing. This is done by associating tags with URLs.

Here’s how you can configur your Helpbot to provide contextually relevant responses based on the page a user is viewing:

  1. Log in to Faqprime:Start by accessing your Faqprime account using your login credentials.
  2. Access the Helpbot Widget:Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Helpbot Widget’ section on your dashboard.
  3. Set Up Context Control:In the ‘Helpbot Widget’ settings, find the ‘Context Control’ section. Here, you can associate specific tags with URLs, enabling the Helpbot to display content relevant to the specific page a user is viewing.
  4. For instance, if a user is on a page with the URL ‘https://www.faqprime.com/producttours’, you could associate this URL with the tag ‘product tours’. The Helpbot will then display content tagged as ‘product tours’ when a user is on this page.
    • Understand URL Matching:
      1. URL Equals: If a user’s page URL exactly matches a URL you’ve specified in Faqprime, only content with the associated tag will be shown. For example, if the user is on ‘https://www.faqprime.com’, and you’ve associated this URL with the tag ‘general’, only content tagged as ‘general’ will be displayed.

      2. URL Contains: If a user’s page URL contains a specific string you’ve specified in Faqprime, only content with the associated tag will be shown. For example, if the URL contains ‘producttours’, and you’ve associated ‘producttours’ with the tag ‘tours’, only content tagged as ‘tours’ will be displayed.

  5. Save Your Changes:After setting up context control, save your changes to ensure they take effect.

This ensures providing the users with the  most relevant information based on the page they’re currently viewing. However, users can always use the search function to find other content apart from the contextually controlled content.
